Only if they're type I phasers locked on a low stun (annoying jolt) by the authorities (Starfleet Security or Earth Defense Forces), and disrupters (type I, II, or III) are definitely out.

i realize you are just trying to be funny, and mocking gun rights, but this is a ';serious'; issue. it is a 2nd ammendment Right which is designed to make war against a tyrannical government. I think the U.S. federal government is fullfilling all of these definitions as it is.








in some states it is legal to carry a side arm if it is visible.


i believe Every man and woman should own a rifle and a side arm, and possibly a knife and sword as well. not to kill everyone, each, their neighbor, but to be well defended in case of invasion, and for mutual respect, which KEEPs crime rates down.





p.s. i also believe guns are not inherently evil. gun-users who are criminals are the causes of all murders and crime.


a righteous man will never kill another man un-provoked. despite this, i also know accident do happen! some accidents are pre-planned though





a righteous man with a gun, might be well defended for the safety of his family.


and i believe it is partially righteous for a community to be death-wish vigilantes, in killing drug dealers and gang lords.


but at the same time, apostles of the Lord are called to ';peace'; and be harmless.





as for self-defense in some streets there is no Worry at all. usually the greatest danger are mobs and gang members and actually government agents.

its been my experience that street preachers harass more people than anyone else. They would have to taze themselves
