Measure the overall length of the gun. Now you know the minimum case size you can buy.
any case it will fit in. those guns are built tougher than the case you put it in. If you are really worried about it go for a hard case. all my shotguns go in cheap soft sided cases and I have never had a problem. The only gun I would recommend a hard case for is one with optics.
get a guitar case from a pawn shop.......makes it easier to carry around.......;)
Consider a hard-shell case.... It will do an excellent job of protection your shotgun......

It is normal to carry a fishing stool, but it has nothing to do with the bus. I thought you had those tall buses in England that seats 4,300 people at once?
I think it would be more appropriate to use on an aeroplane.
Well it may be normal for you but surly not me lol

Yes. I've learned to always carry pads/tampons with you because you never know when it will come. It saves the embarrassment of having to ask others for help or stuffing tp in your underwear.Do you carry sanitary napkins @ all times, in case of any accidents?
It's a decent idea. I usually have a few tampons in my purse, but only because when I go out I over load with them if I have my period and I don't take them out after my period is done.
i just carry mines around when i know its around my time of the month.

I have just bought the Thomas the tank carry case .. I just need all the little trains that go with it ..help.?

Where abouts will i get these trains from do you know?! The carry case was from woolworths, Im not sure if theres any certain trains i have to get.. If anyone knows a online website that would be so great =) thanks. I have just bought the Thomas the tank carry case .. I just need all the little trains that go with it ..help.?
Toys R Us has lots of Thomas trains. Right now the are having a special where if you spend so much on Thomas trains, you get the big train track for free.I have just bought the Thomas the tank carry case .. I just need all the little trains that go with it ..help.?
There are several different types of trains and they all fit on only their own specific tracks. They all vary in size. You would have to read the packaging that came with your carrying case to see which trains fit in it. Could be track master, take alongs, wooden railway system, etc...

So who's carrying more baggage - Sarah Palin or Joe Biden; that being the case, why all the noise about Palin?

Gee, could it really be true that the media is little more than a mouthpiece for the furthest left parts of the Democratic Party? You know, just a thought. ;-)

For those of you who have no clue as to what's really going on here, Joe Biden's track record is worthy of, oh, about 20 times the amount of scrutiny that Sarah Palin's family life is getting. You know, just in case you'd prefer to be informed rather than entertained.

What's that you say? Entertainment is all you're interested in? Well, I'd say that the aforementioned parts of the Democratic Party and the media are ecstatic to learn that parts of the electorate care not one whit about their government. They know better than anyone else that if you did their plans for our future would be toast.

So, keep on babbling about Palin's family issues while ignoring the smellier parts of Biden's record (You DID know about the smellier parts of Biden't record, didn't you? Oh, I just KNEW you did! NOT!), and demonstrate your glee to the rest of us as you revel in your ignorance and celebrity-culture inanity. (If you don't know what it means, then GO LOOK IT UP!!!)So who's carrying more baggage - Sarah Palin or Joe Biden; that being the case, why all the noise about Palin?
Yep! Time to start digging into that political hacks record now. Boy that should be some fun!! Biden is a liar.So who's carrying more baggage - Sarah Palin or Joe Biden; that being the case, why all the noise about Palin?
Do you want a mother of 5 kids, one a new born with special needs, running the country? Why would she even accept the VP role? Does she even have time to take care of her family and run the country?

This is the biggest joke I think I've heard.

I respectfully disagree, everyone knows that the Fox Networks are beyond far right conservatives. Its for more networks that fall under the Fox network umbrella than liberal.

Food for thought, maybe the liberals are the ones right now with some substance to their news. The conservatives have given alot of tough talk here lately and in turn ran this great country into the ground.

What's the best carrying case available? I understand most are too small to fit the power block, is there a model that will accommodate the power block plus 4 controllers?XBOX 360 Carry Case recommendation?
This one seems to be your best option, although it doesn't seem to have a spot for the massive power brick. None of the cases out seem to accomodate for it. Waiting to see if other carrying cases are released might be your best option.

But, if you don't mind giving up some game space, you can put the power brick in some of the spots for the games.

They used to say that the heat in your pocket would break down a condom eventually. Maybe they're made more sturdy, now. Anyway, I guess I'd at least trade them out. Hey--call Trojan and ask if they'll last in a wallet. :))

    Good luck, buckaroo!
Always carry a condom in your wallet. It is extremely useful ';just in case';.

I'm pretty sure I'm hypoglycemic, What is something I could carry around in my purse in case of an emergency?

I want to know a certain food that I can keep with me at all times %26amp;%26amp; the will help with the jitters, lack of focus, and the feeling of crap when I'm lacking the sugar. Sometimes after I eat when I'm going into shock I feel worse after eating! Help!I'm pretty sure I'm hypoglycemic, What is something I could carry around in my purse in case of an emergency?
They are symptoms of hypoglycemic but they may also be symptoms of dehydration. See a doctor, they are the only person that can tell you for sure.

Glucose pills are available at any pharmacy but even with them you should eat within a half hour because they raise your sugar level quickly but it will drop again. They are a quick source of glucose but are not a substitution for food.

The best thing I have found is a peanut butter and jelly sandwich. It provides starch, protein, and sugar. Also 6 jelly beans, more or least depending on the person, or about 4 ounces of regular soda.I'm pretty sure I'm hypoglycemic, What is something I could carry around in my purse in case of an emergency?
Well, I would definitely talk to your doctor about this. In the mean time they do have glucose tablets at pharmacies for low blood sugar to make it rise quickly.

    Mild hypoglycemia

Symptoms of mild low blood sugar usually develop when blood sugar falls below 70 mg/dL and may include:

    * Nausea.

    * Extreme hunger.

    * Feeling nervous or jittery.

    * Cold, clammy, wet skin and/or excessive sweating not caused by exercise.

    * A rapid heartbeat (tachycardia).

    * Numbness or tingling of the fingertips or lips.

    * Trembling.

    Moderate hypoglycemia

If blood sugar continues to fall, the nervous system will be affected. Symptoms usually develop when the blood sugar falls below 55 mg/dL and may include:

    * Mood changes, such as irritability, anxiety, restlessness, or anger.

    * Confusion, difficulty in thinking, or inability to concentrate.

    * Blurred vision, dizziness, or headache.

    * Weakness, lack of energy.

    * Poor coordination.

    * Difficulty walking or talking, such as staggering or slurred speech.

    * Fatigue, lethargy, or drowsiness.

    Severe hypoglycemia

The symptoms of severe low blood sugar develop when blood sugar falls below 35-40 mg/dL and may include:

    * Seizures or convulsions.

    * Loss of consciousness, coma.

    * Low body temperature (hypothermia).
First off, if you are a hypoglycemic, then you need to see a doctor. Poorly controlled blood sugar is a very dangerous thing when left untreated. Furthermore, you could certainly endanger yourself and others if you were to have a hypoglycemic incident while, say, driving, that would be dangerous.

As for foods that might help, drugstores often sell quick release glucose tablets for this purpose, but Orange Juice and hard candies are the old standbys.
Issues with your blood sugar can be very dangerous. Do not rely on quick fixes you need to find out what the problem is and the only way you can do that is by seeing a doctor - before it becomes an emergency. That being said there are various options available to you from a pharmacy. I can guarantee you that, at least for now you are not ';going into shock'; because you wouldn't be telling us about it if you were. You need to get your sugars stabilized and you can only do that with a doctor. They will recommend something that you can carry with you to ';tie you over'; if necessary but eating properly and regularly is the best thing you can do, hypoglycemic or not.

Okay, well based on what you are saying it certainly sounds likely but there could be other things going on as well - only a doctor can find out for sure but I see there was another poster while I was composing mine and their suggestions are sound. Personally I would never recommend hard candy because of the risk to choking but those bite size chocolate bars are a good alternative to that, even sugar packets, something that will dissolve quickly, you can always add the sugar to regular bottled water. Really though you need to be checked by a doctor - hypoglycemia if not managed can be fatal in many different ways.

Has there ever been a case where an Execution was carried out on an Illegal Alien from Mexico?

I have been following this issue over the past 5 years. I cannot find where Justice was served on any Mexican Illegal who met his appointment with the executioner. However a number of states have allowed the Death Sentence to be over turned on any Mexican Illegal who was sentenced to die for commiting murders in the United States. This included murders on Police Officers, Border Patrol Agents, Entire Mexican Families and Pregnant Women who themselves were Mexicans. I now Know that the Mexican Government, Amnasty International, MALDEF and the Democrat Party - Don't Give a Damm about Mexican Illegals who commit Murders on Mexican Women in the United States.Has there ever been a case where an Execution was carried out on an Illegal Alien from Mexico?
Well gee...we can't execute these law abiding citizens that are here for a better life now can we?

    /Sarcasm OFF

Btw Psi. It's been 2 years and it was never linked to the Minuteman organization after being investigated by 3 different agencies.

All your article stated was that they were investigating to see if there was a possible connection.

There wasn't.Has there ever been a case where an Execution was carried out on an Illegal Alien from Mexico?
Take a look at the Death Penalty Information Center for all you want to know about who has been executed, when, who the victim was. www.deathpenaltyinfo.org
    Angel Maturino Resendiz

    http://www.txexecutions.org/reports/368.鈥?/a>
In the state where I live ,there is no death penalty. There were 3 cases some years ago in which illegal (not Mexican) immigrants were involved in DUI's and were jailed and deported.
Not yet, but there are numerous illegals in jail and awaiting there date with the hangman, however, they may never actually be executed due to the negativism it causes from the Mexican population, both legal and illegal. I for one say put all the illegals away as they are criminals to begin with, for being here in the first place.
If not then there should be, and if so then good. I think if they want to come here illegally and commit crimes like murder then they should be executed just like anyone else. If there are any cases were they are on death row or were on death row and pardoned then shame on the U.S. government. We should be shooting them as they come over here illegally, maybe if we started to pick em' off one by one as they cross over then they will stop comming. I am so sick of the ';Poor illegals'; BS. If you want to come to our country do it right and legally and you wouldn't have these problems. The problem with illegals getting away with being illegal is that they feel that they are above the law here, they got away with it once why not get away with another crime. The illegals are comming over here and they are going to end up taking over, so start learning the language now, because in a few years we won't be speaking engilish anymore. The invasion has begun, and the politicians could care less.
I have heard of a minuteman taking the law into his own hands and carried one out. I will look for a link on this story.

Vigilante assault on Mexican immigrants kills one

A USA masked vigilante with an assault rifle and military fatigues attacked a group of 18 Mexican immigrants on the border near Columbus, New Mexico yesterday. According to a report today by the Attorney General of Chihuahua, Patricia Gonzalez, one or more armed vigilantes, from the US side of the border, stopped a vehicle carrying 18 Mexican immigrants attempting to cross the border near the ';Palomas, Chihuahua/Columbus, New Mexico'; port of entry. The vigilante in a ski mask forcefully stopped their car and ordered the immigrants out of the vehicle and then proceeded to shoot the driver point blank, killing Apolinar Ortega Sanchez. The murderer who spoke in ';broken Spanish'; then ran to a vehicle waiting for him and raced to the USA side of the border according to the survivors. Attorney General Patricia Gonzalez is investigating the possibility that the assault was part of the Minutemen operations that took place along the Mexico/Arizona border and that are now moving westward.
Wow - You'd think that they'd actually sentence a murderer of ANY nationality to death. Obviously those parties don't care about illegal aliens from their country because they support what they're doing.

I'd like to see some links that you've checked up on.
I don't think so but that is good because it is not right to execute people. If they killed a border patrol agent they were probably acting in self defense

  • What is the metal case that they use to carry movies in called?

Anyone know what that is called? Its those big metal cases that carry the film reels for movies in them. Thanks! What is the metal case that they use to carry movies in called?
They're called cans. What is the metal case that they use to carry movies in called?
We call them ';cans'; at my theatre.
It used to be called a tin...that was a few years ago though. Of course it still fits, so maybe I am still right.

Could I use a 21'; pilot case (with wheels) as carry on luggage?

My flight is tomorrow with American Airlines from Austin to Detroit. I don't plan on the suitcase being heavy but I want to make sure it fits.Could I use a 21'; pilot case (with wheels) as carry on luggage?
    Yes you can.

Can you attach a fly fishing rod in a case to your carry on and have it still count as one carry on bag?

I doubt it. But give it a try.

Will most major airlines allow me to bring a standard sized folk guitar in a case along on board as a carry on

Would a standard accoustic guitar in it's case be elligible as carry-on luggage on most airlines?

If it has to go below in the luggage compartment, can anyone give a few travel tips for the safety and well being of the instrument? Will most major airlines allow me to bring a standard sized folk guitar in a case along on board as a carry on
i doubt it not only is it irregularly shaped but it's too large. a guitar case is bigger than my suitcase, which is also too large to carry on. i would say to make sure the case is a hard case. if it isn't, anything can damage it. if your worried about it getting bumped around, i suggest a case that has padding on the inside of it. i see your concern, and maybe it would be a good idea to call the airport service first to ask, but i don't think they'll let you carry such a large carry-on onto the plane. Where would it go? It probably wouldn't fit well in the overhead compartment and not anywhere else. I really don't think you have much to worry about as long as the case of your guitar is sturdy and padded. suitcases don't get thrown and bumped around as much as people think they do. most airlines are good about handling baggage carefully.

If you're really desperate, you can put a 'FRAGILE' or 'HANDLE WITH CARE' sticker on the case.

another source tells me that american airlines lets you carry it on, but they check it so you might want to even remove the strings if it's a different airline, because they want to make sure nothing is inside the body of the guitar. Will most major airlines allow me to bring a standard sized folk guitar in a case along on board as a carry on
Because of the size of it, unfortunately you can not carry it on as cabin luggage. My only suggestion would be to invest (if you already have not done so) in a good quality flight case, that should stand up to the rigours of being in the hold with other baggage. Don't forget it will be insured by the airline should damage or loss occur during transit. one last word of advice - if it goes on the flight in the hold resist the temptation to put fragile stickers on the case - these stickers are generally ignored!!!!!!!!! if you know what I mean!!
Sweetie if it doesn't fit in the carry on sizer the word is no. And a guitar will not fit. So if you don't have a hard case put it in a box pack it well with bubble wrap and send it through luggage. Sorry I know how careful you want to be with you insturment.
Yes most airlines will let you travel with your guitar but check with them for a possible cost. UK security allows musical instuments even though its outside the standard luggage size.

    from www.baa.com

'; Can I take my musical instrument on board?

    Yes. In addition to the Hand baggage allowance, one musical instrument in its case can be taken into the cabin. No items other than the instrument and its accessories can be carried in the case ';
Yeah, fly from Birmingham Airport and they won`t even notice you`ve got it!
Yes it is part of your luggage put fragile on it though. I presume you mean in the baggage holder and not in the cabin. If it is the luggage holdall I don't see a problem.
no they wont but check with airline first
not sure what a folk guitar should look like but when i get ask about a regular guitar i said to them, if u past thru security check point and once on the plane its the flight attendant that u have to be super nice to b/c its up to she or he that will put ur guitar in the first or business class passenger cabin. trust me, they can find all sort of places for it. but if u can't get past the tsa and gets sent back to repack, follow the guideline the other guys have post, bubble wrap ect. btw, i am assuming ur flying on a 747?? regardless, be curteous and friendly. catch more bees with honey than vinegar, right?!?

I'm Diabetic and I need to carry orange juice in my purse in case of a low blood sugar?

I'm flying cross country, Will they let me take my OJ. I can't use theglucose products. They are unpredictable with my sugars. And sucrose takes too long to convert I also don't get sx of LBS till I'm in the 30s So I need something that works fast and OJ seems to work the best for meI'm Diabetic and I need to carry orange juice in my purse in case of a low blood sugar?
As long as you have a medical ID (Medic Alert), there should be no problem. Your best bet would be to have juice boxes in your carry on bag, along with some crackers or another type of snack.

I have flown carrying juice boxes before and although I was questioned at security, I was able to take them through and on the plane.

I suggest you also carry some glucose gel with you (you can buy it at any drug store) or carry a Glucagon kit

If the juice is taken away from you at security, there is always juice and such on the plane...just ask the flight attendant for some and it will be given to you.

Since airport security is strict about allowing liquids through, you might have a problem. Always have a back-up method with you. The limit on liquids is 3 ounces.

    Have a safe flight.

EMTI'm Diabetic and I need to carry orange juice in my purse in case of a low blood sugar?
Carry a little tube of cake decorating gel or icing in your purse. It should act nearly as fast as orange juice. Glucose also comes in tube gel, but can be significantly more expensive than tablets.

    http://www.glucoburst.com/where-to-buy-g鈥?/a>
Have a dr write a note. Another trick is Lifesaver candies.
After you pass security , most airports have some stores and restaurants.

They will not let you take too many liquids from home. You can however, buy what you want from a gift shop or restaurant.

    Happy vacation.
Get a slip from your doctor stating your are a diabetic and that you need oj with you in case of lows. But they usually have oj on the plane and even serve it to you when they are passing out drinks if that is what you request. Check with your airline too and alert them to the fact that you may need oj and they will stock it.
Or you can eat 6 life savers or 1 cup of milk , 1/2 regular pop not deit, 3 or 4 glucose tablets .

after 15 min test your blood sugar agian if it low eat some more of what is listed.
Every time I have ever flown orange juice was offered as a snack during the flight.
Contact the airline. Some will allow certain items that aren't normally allowed if your can provide a doctor's note.
Too much medication causes low blood sugar. Take less especially when you don't eat.
Check with air-line security, before boarding the plane.

They may be able to give you some on the plane to take.
I'm sorry, but I might be reading your question wrong. But from what I understand, there should be juice on the plane. If you CAN'T carry orange juice, you should carry the sugar (glucose) tablets. They aren't liquid, so you should get passed. You can always buy them in the pharmacy section for under 5 dollars a tube. I always carry both juice and tablets around just in case, because I know how you feel when you experience hypoglycemia(: Theres also cake icing tubes. But no one really does that. Haha. So carry the tube, juice, and ask if they have juice available on the plane. Better safe, than sorry(; Also, get a medical form from your doctor (you might need consent to pass). I don't know. Haha. I hope this helps(: Crazy rules these days. Poor diabetics..
I would call and ask, but most likely you'll be able to get orange juice on the plane. Ask about that as well.

    Good luck and happy flying
I know that if you are traveling within the us you are allowed to carry liquid sealed if your diabetic. As far as overseas i would check to see how much you are allowed to carry with you.
Call the airline and ask if they will stock some oj on board. Most do, anyway. Then, when the hostess comes around, ask for orange juice instead of a soft drink, etc.
you could buy small bottle and put in purse i would call the air port but think you could take it on. they may have it on board also.

Which is best carry case for sony DSC-W50 camera, Plastic one or Lether one?

    Nylon.

If i have a bag for stuff (my purse inside) and a laptop in a case... is this too many carry ons?

I have a small bag to put stuff in as a carry on, in which i can put my purse. But i want to be able to bring my laptop too. I was just wondering about carry on limits and whatnot. If i have a bag for stuff (my purse inside) and a laptop in a case... is this too many carry ons?
FAA regulations states that you are allowed one carryon bag and one small personal item, one of which must be small enough to fit underneath the seat in front of you.If i have a bag for stuff (my purse inside) and a laptop in a case... is this too many carry ons?
That would be fine. Usually you are allowed 2 carry ons.
no, its not too many. I have flown many times and I have taken my purse AND a very full backpack. I also have taken a duffle bag and a backpack. They have let do both, so you should be ok as long as it will fit under the seat in front of you or you can put it in the overhead compartment.

American police can you give a good case for uk police to carry guns routinely?

it seems that more and more guns are being used against police and public but i get the feeling policemen vote against carrying guns in britain as it would be seen as ';not the decent thing to do'; even though it seems illeagal guns are here to stay.American police can you give a good case for uk police to carry guns routinely?
Police in UK being unarmed has not prevented the criminal element from obtaining and using guns. It is my understanding that Armed Response Units are available in many parts of the country, but their response could be too late.

While the US may have higher gun related crime than the UK, this is an unfair comparison. The US is considerably larger and with a higher population. Population and size are only two factors that contribute to our crime trends.

If arming police in the UK is not the decent thing to do, consider other countries of Europe. Switzerland, for example, has armed police. That country still has a relatively low violent crime rate. Switzerland also has a significantly high rate of gun ownership nationwide, as marksmanship is considered a national past time. So, the presence of guns does not necessarily correlate with high crime.American police can you give a good case for uk police to carry guns routinely?
As a Police Officer I can give many examples of Officers who have been caught up in something when single crewed and their own asp baton has been used against them. They came away with bad bruises, maybe a broken bone at worst. Had those officers been carrying guns what would have happened?

Guns are not common place enough to warrant Police carrying them. Personally I think having such a fatal tool on your belt can only be a bad thing. Taser is just as effective at debilitating people and has far less chance of killing someone. The firearms units can provide sufficient cover.
The police here in the UK are correct in not wanting to be routinely armed and the public agrees with them. Arming our officers would merely reduce us to the lunatic level of the American mentality on guns and grossly increase the number of crims willing to go out 'tooled up'. American police are a law unto themselves and could not cope or even police effectively without their armoury.
CT makes a good point, If the bad guys have them, then the good guys need them. Luckily for us the bad guys don't have them. No one except a very small minority has them and they are more than matched by elite firearms teams.

Guns may stay in America, but I can send my kids to school safe in the knowledge its extremely unlikely that some fruit loop is going to storm in and shoot them. I can engage in friendly banter with a colleague knowing that if I go a bit too far the worst that can happen is a slap.

You can keep the right to bear arms, I'll keep my casual attitude to walking down the street without worrying about the mental health of my fellow citizens.
I am not an officer but I live and work at various times in both the UK and the US. And am a citizen of both as I grew up in both.

Now I understand the UK stance in regard to civility and decency. One just respects authority and there could be huge consequences. Society has changed and it is not say 1945 anymore. A baton and waiting for someone else to show up with a weapon is not going to cut it.

I like the US approach with all officers being armed. Every officer has the capability to protect others and themselves. There is also the implied threat.

They US police do not just go around shooting people. But what if a UK officer shows up for a domestic issue and the crazed husband has a gun or a knife to the wife's throat?

But major things come into play with the implied threat thing. Say there is a call that someone is robbing a bank or randomly shooting people. The closest unit that might be right around the corner can show and respond immediatly. Time is of the essence.

I actually saw a bank robbery (armed) in a village in England. The police that were around could do nothing expect watch them get on motorcycles and leave. They were long gone before someone showed with a weapon.
I don't follow your argument. There are a lot more shootings in gun crazy America than there are here. If the British police were routinely armed wouldn't that cause even more idiots to carry them in so called 'self-defence'? I'm a nurse and have tended to people with gun-shot wounds in Birmingham's 'wild-west'.
Isn't protecting and serving a decent act? Why should only the criminals have ammunition? How do your police protect you if they don't have the power to do so? Guns are definitely here to stay and if the bad guys have 'em the good guys need 'em.
I thought UK police did carry revolvers now in the larger cities. Maybe not. Anyway, the police are good for after the crime. But I keep a pistol at home for the hopefully-never-will-happen-to-me intrusion. I live way out in the sticks.
In Oakland, CA, an unarmed man was shot in the back by a police officer at a train station. He died and left behind a son. Police can be overzealous. I don't trust all of them.
I don't think police should carry guns here, they don't seem competent enough. Just think back to that innocent young man shot down repeatedly when boarding the tube.

Can I carry my makeup case on the airplane?

Yes you can, but remember that any liquids or gels have to be in 3oz or smaller containers and that you have to put all of them in a one quart size plastic bag and take it out of the case to be xrayed separately when going through security. By the way, the 3oz or smaller containers have to be just that. It's no good trying to take a 6oz container that is half full (ie 3 oz of liquid), they will confiscate it!Can I carry my makeup case on the airplane?

Why do ';system quarterbacks'; such as Colt Brennan, Case Keenum ect. carry such a low value in the NFL draft?

I know that the offense these teams (Houston, Texas Tech, Hawaii, ect.) inflate the quarterback's numbers but if they are throwing it so much more than quarter backs coming from a ';pro'; style offense like Stafford, they have much more experience throwing the ball and making reads. Why is their draft value always so low?Why do ';system quarterbacks'; such as Colt Brennan, Case Keenum ect. carry such a low value in the NFL draft?
Because ';system quarterbacks'; usually run a gimmicky style that works in college due to a difference in talent. There are 119 or so FBS (formerly Division 1A) schools. There are 32 professional teams. Speed, being able to read a play, and other things are much more even in the NFL. The secondarys are too good and the action too fast. It's also why an option run offense doesn't work in the NFL but still does in college. You could not run Navy or Georgia Tech's triple option in the pros. Why do ';system quarterbacks'; such as Colt Brennan, Case Keenum ect. carry such a low value in the NFL draft?
The so called experts think that a quarterback who takes a shotgun snap, are unable to take a snap under center. That is the dumbest thing I have ever heard. You still nead to read the defense if your in the shotgun. And NFL QBS are in the Shotgun alot anyways in passing downs. Graham harrell should be starting for some team for example the bucs, panthers, rams, redskins, titans, dolphins, seattle, raiders, starting qbs are terrible and they could all use graham. The NFL loves guys with big arms aka '; The Jamarcus Russells of the world who cant hit a reciever 10 yards down field but thats ok cause he can throw the ball 70 yards JUST NOT ACCURATELY! Honestly it makes me sick to watch Graham Harell go undrafted and Brennan go in the 6th round when they can easily start for several NFL teams. Hey when is Jim Zorn gonna give Brennan a shot How many games are you going to put up 9 points with cambell before you try Brennan for 1 game. Brennan would not have lost to the lions I can tell you that!
It's because that in the NFL, the game is so much different. The NFL teams want QBs that have been in an offense in which they run a playbook

similar to what they will see in the NFL. Plays that they will have to be making in the NFL.

Taking the ball from shot gun every play does show that you may not be able

to make a transition to under center because you have to work on the footwork

more, and so you will have to worry about taking the right steps,

reading the defense on the fly, and you no longer have a headstart on D-linemen.

And also, most teams will run plenty of screens as was pointed out in a previous reply.

Or they will at least have a back to stay in and block,

then if protection breaks down, they are taught to be ready for a dump off.
The NFL offense is so complex that having learned four years of a similar system in college gives you a head start on other guys. If two guys have similar physical traits and can make similar throws, the guy from a pro style will get the nod everytime. Look at all the top quarterbacks in the pros right now and youll see that the college pro style quarterback takes the cake. Brady, Manning, Roethlisberger, Rivers, Palmer, Hasselbeck, Brees, Ryan....look at the big name spread QBs to come out of college: V Young, Kellen Clemons, Alex Smith, Rex Grossman, Joey Harrington, etc. All the latest high round spread QB busts
because their stats are padded with about 6000 screens a game.. see in those pass happy Offenses they don't run the ball but use WR screens like a running game.. so.. they throw for 40TD's but 23 of those were on passes of 10 yards or less where a guy got lose in space.. really just doesn't translate well to the NFL style of offense

to respond to the post below about the skins and Brennan.. it ain't Campbell that's the issue.. the issue is whoever the QB is doesn't stand a chance to succeed in Washington right now.. their top WR played QB for Indiana in college.. the offensive play calling is horrible..
They typically don't have the arm strength or accuracy to make any throws more than 10-15 yards.

To the guy above. The shotgun is pretty much a give away that you are going to pass the ball. Usually the defense has to decide run or pass then adjust from there. Now that you eliminated the run before the play even starts you are just giving them a head start.

Graham Harrell is a great example of a guy with no physical abilities. He got a tryout from the Browns and didn't even get a contract offer.
It has nothing to do with being a system QB, and everything to do with the ability to make NFL throws. The game is much faster, so they need a stronger arm. A lot of ';system'; QBs lack the arm strength to throw deep outs, and therefor NFL coaches shy away from them. As a matter of fact, most college QBs lack that ability, and that's why they never make it at the next level.
Because they aren't as good at ';managing a game.'; Your QB has to be like an OC on the field.

Do mountain climbers carry portable emergency GPS transmitters in case they need to be rescued?

Most likely but not all of them carry this. But not often times. Minor climbs will not need GPS but major climbs need this.

Yes you can. Just make sure to put them in a plastic bag and remove them when your carry-on bag goes through security. I just traveled internationally and had an extra pair of contacts in my bag and it was no big deal. Can I bring my contact lenses in the case (in the clear care solution I have) on my airplane carry on?
Yes, you will be fine with that, just make sure they are in a clear plastic bag when going through security, then you can repack them in your carry on luggage.
    Yes you can. no problem.

Do astronauts carry guns with them, in case there's an alien attack?

I'm seriously asking. Shouldn't they be prepared?Do astronauts carry guns with them, in case there's an alien attack?
    That's classified information.

In any event they would never tell us.

But I do believe they carry some light sabers.Do astronauts carry guns with them, in case there's an alien attack?
The risk from alien attack is negligible, so it's not reasonable to carry weapons for this purpose.

The survival pack on board the Russian Soyuz spacecraft contains a handgun. It is supposed to be used to fend off wild animal attacks if the capsule lands off course, somewhere in the wilderness.

Here's an article by James Oberg about this:

    http://www.msnbc.msn.com/id/23131359/
Umm...... i don't think so. This is reality, not star wars, the possibility of there being life on a planet that is in OUR solar system i would guess would be one in a billion (unless your talking about mars or the moon since they both have liquid water). Even if there was aliens i don't think they would be smart or strong enough to kill a fully-growned astronaut, c'mon.
I know that Buck Rogers always carried one. His trusted ray gun at his side. You never know when a mad scientist will capture you in space.
umm prepared for what exactly? The only thing a gun would do in space is kill everyone on board the spacecraft two reasons.

    1. As mentioned before shooting a bullet in a spaceship would most likely damage the spacecraft, and shooting a hole in a spacecraft would possibly lead to explosive decompression killing everyone on board.

    2. The atmosphere on board is enriched oxygen or an oxygen helium mix, both very combustible, so there is a chance the flash of a gunshot would ignite the oxygen/helium in the atmosphere and kill everyone inside.

    3. Finally, if an alien attacks a spacecraft they're not doing it from inside they'll just destroy the spacecraft from the outside sheesh.
I suppose not. They're not expecting an alien attack any day.But I guess the real answer is top secret.
The Apollo 11 moon landing didn't need any weapons against aliens they had Buzz Aldrin, he was 100% effective against aliens and pretty deadly against Bart Sibrel (see link). Obey the fist of Buzz Aldrin!. Still there was no reason for the astronauts to carry weapons given that if a gun went off in a spacecraft it would very much be pretty fatal to the astronauts, though they did carry cyanide capsules in case of an emergency. The Russians however did carry guns as part of a survival kit in case the capsule went off course and landed where there are dangerous animals. During flights, the gun is packed into a metal canister located between two couches on the Soyuz spacecraft and is only used in case of a failed landing situation, then it is given as a present to the commander of the Soyuz capsule. The whole story started in 1965, when a Soyuz spacecraft landed in a remote area of Russian territory and apparently the crew had encountered hungry wolves, or bears, even though the rescue helicopter team stated that, in fact, the wolves were about 3 kilometers away the landing site, nowhere near the capsule.

In contrast, the U.S. space agency NASA, had never carried firearms into space, but machetes were provided just in case a capsule were to land in a jungle area, and even though rescue missions can localize a stranded space capsule in the matter of a few minutes, the firearms still remain on board Soyuz spacecrafts. Training usually takes place on the Black Sea, when the crew learn how to exit the spacecraft while it is floating on water.
    NO.
    No.
Shooting a gun on a spaceship would be even more dangerous than shooting a gun on an airliner.

First risk is of missing your target and having the bullet ricochet around inside a tin can. You can wind up being hit by your own bullet.

Second risk is of putting a hole in your spacecraft. Because the pressure outside is lower (in fact, nearly 0), all the atmosphere inside the spacecraft will exit the spacecraft and you'll die from lack of oxygen.
    Well!!!

Astronauts aboard the International Space Station apparently have access to a gun.

Russian Cosmonauts carry a gun on their Soyuz space capsule, which is attached to the space station. Salyut 3 had a machine gun. The station had a 23 mm rapid-fire cannon mounted on the outside, along the long axis of the station ';for defence against US space-based inspectors/interceptors

But, they are not carrying them to defend from aliens....

An astronaut would only carry a pistol in case a fellow astronaut went nuts. The same reason I carried a pistol as the Captain did. You do not want to hear about the fight that erupted.
You watched too much sci-fi, I assume. Well, I think not, but it's top secret information.
For aliens to visit us they would be so advanced that a gun wouldn't help you.
    Probably not.
i know the russian astronauts carried guns but that was in case they landed in hostile territory here on earth. think, if a civilization were advanced enough to build starships, what effect would puny earth pop guns do?
typical launch costs are around $10,000 per pound.

taking an unauthorized weapon onto a government vessel of ANY type is prohibited.

so it would not be permitted and would be FOOLISHLY expensive.
A typical fire-arm would be useless in space. A bullet requires combustion, which requires oxygen, which there is none in space. If we carried weapons out there, they wouldn't be good for any more than a rock would. But if you are out in the middle of nowhere, I guess a rock would be hard to find anyways....
what would astronauts do even if they have guns with them. It is believed that alien's technologies are far ahead of that of our technologies. Just keeping guns wouldn't help astronauts to counter-attack. Alien's might use lasers to attach astronauts if they at all want to attack human or human's machines... one more thing is that it would be very risky for astronauts to carry guns in space..!!!!
You have the wrong mental image of astronauts. Think of them as high-tech plumbers. Not as high-tech cowboys.

    It's the V5 document.

It used to be called the log book and old habits die hard.

    Hello

    Log Book is V5

Owners Manual is to tell owner about the controls on the car, I have a Vauxhall so mine is Dark Blue and Handy for keeping the Insurance, MOT and V5 in. The Case should also have a Security Information Card in it. It has the Key, Immobiliser and Radio Codes on it should you ever need them. I also keep the spare key in there so I know where it is.

Andy CHelo, log book, is this the V5 registration or the owner manual that comes with plastic carry case?
    It's the V5.

They're still called log books by the older generation. This comes from the days when it really was a book, and it listed all the past owners complete with addresses. The log book scheme was scrapped in the early 1970's.

See the link for a famous example, the Saints Volvo P1800S. Registered to Roger Moore.

How much meat is tradition to carry in pockets for Americans? Just in case, you know?

The tradition calls for around 2.2 pounds (1 Kg) of meat. On the east coast this tends to be in the form of hot dogs. In the middle of the country most people carry jerky (beef is most common, not surprisingly), and on the west coast you see dried fish (baccala), sometimes coated with sprouts and/or nuts.

Note that many carry less than the standard 2.2 pounds and some just carry a token amount.

Hope that helps. How much meat is tradition to carry in pockets for Americans? Just in case, you know?

What are some essentials that artists should carry around with them and in their pencil case?

I was told by C.F. Payne to draw with whatever you like drawing with. If you love drawing with blue BIC pens...use a blue BIC pen. There is nothing that is a must have. Don't get caught up in technicalities...just create! What are some essentials that artists should carry around with them and in their pencil case?
A range of graphite pencils, some charcoal pencils and sticks, of course, are needed. A kneeded eraser, a pink pearl eraser, and pencil tipped eraser are great tools for not only making corrections but are also sometimes important drawing tools in themselves. A brush that can remove eraser crumbs yet is soft enough to not disturb the drawing. Some sharp razor blades and sandpaper for shaping pencil and charcoal tips. Smudging sticks, and soft rags are great for shading. I actually have a lot of stuff in mine and sometimes can't remember why I have it in there. I have had a thimble for almost 20 years and I am not sure what I used it for. What are some essentials that artists should carry around with them and in their pencil case?
A couple of soft lead pencils, a sharpener, kneaded eraser and a couple of Sharpie markers for inking. (I carry two each of fine point and extra fine point)

That's just the basic necessities for sketching in the field. The drawing pad could be as large as 12 by 18, or as small as my five by seven sketchbook. I rarely, (but sometimes do) bring a large, 18 by 20 sketch pad and sketch board.

I almost never do any coloring in the field, but when I do, I bring a box of a dozen or so color pencils. But, when color accuracy is VERY important, I take a digital photo.

But, with my minimal sketching supplies and small sketchbook, I can go, virtually, anywhere without having to lug around a bunch of art supplies. For real, paid work, I bring the sketches and phots back to my studio and work in air conditioned comfort, with ALL my media at hand and within easy reach.
Ive come across a couple of books on works done with colored pencil. I was amazed by what can be accomplished with colored pencils. Check it out at the library or Amazon. The books were titled: The Best of Colored Pencil. They featured works done by many different artists.
pencils, lead (if mechanical) or pencil sharpener (for wood), extra BIG eraser, white out for pens, whipes for hands (after smearing for effects) and i know i'm forgetting something.

  • Was a weapon carried aboard the Apollo 11 mission in case they met anything hostile?

I guess this can be asked of every manned space mission. But I've wondered for years if any weapons were carried aboard Apollo 11.

After all; They were going where no humans have ever gone before. All we knew about the moon then was what we could see through a telescope a quarter million miles away on Earth.

It seems inconceivable that people would go that far into unknown regions and not carry some means of self defense. Was a weapon carried aboard the Apollo 11 mission in case they met anything hostile?
Yes it was called Buzz Aldrin he has a good right hook. Was a weapon carried aboard the Apollo 11 mission in case they met anything hostile?
Sorry, but the only weapons you will find in any spacecraft in history is the survival knife and on the Russian Soyuz spacecraft, a special survival rifle, which has three different barrels, for shooting flares and defending the spacecraft against hostile creatures... from Earth. When you land accidentally in the Ural mountains, you will be happy if you can at least scare the bears away.

But militarily, what do you think: how much ammo and weapons can a spacecraft carry? If you land where hostile creatures life and where the next human to reinforce you is thousands of miles away, even the Soyuz survival rifle will serve a better purpose if you give it away as tribute for peace.

It is a typical thought inside the USA, that a single rifle is good for defending the house against robbers, but the people who use to think that way, also think the robbers will draw numbers before breaking into the house, will not defend their own criminal life with even better weapons and will give you a 30 minutes break to drive to the store and buy new ammo.

Only works good, if you have somebody else wearing a red shirt.
No, they didn't, though there was some concern about them bringing back harmful bacteria, unlikely as it seemed. Up until Apollo 14 astronauts were quarantined when they returned to Earth in case they had picked up some pathogen in space or on the Moon.

And to correct some misinformation above, the oxygen in gunpowder is bound up in the powder. So not only would a gun work in a vacuum, it would be even deadlier because there would be no air to slow the bullet.

Which brings up another point, an accidental gunshot in a space capsule could cripple or destroy the mission. Another excellent reason why NASA wouldn't particularly want armed astronauts.
    Apollo 11 was in 1969.

Back then very few people seriously believed there was any life outside earth because there was no alien/ufo industry merchandising it's way into people's brains. The circus of greys/reptilians/nordics/etc/etc had yet to be invented, and there was no history (sic) channel brainwashing people with cock and bull stories about aliens.

Hence there were no weapons aboard any of the Apollo flights.
Apollos 8 and 10 went into lunar orbit before Apollo 11 and those astronauts got a very good view of the Moon. There were also plenty of photos from unmanned probes. The Russians photographed the far side of the Moon in 1959. If there had been hostile aliens on the Moon, they would have known. I doubt anyone at NASA was concerned about Armstrong and Aldrin encountering aliens on the Moon.
You with your typical mindset cannot think of anything sophisticated. Even if you need to kill something (the very laughable idea) does it appear like a mammalian like man? Or there no sophisticated methods you can think of?

The real danger happens to be from organisms like Viruses, like the present day H151 flu Virus that is sweeping the world now. Do you need 'a weapon' against such athing or anti-viral serum (don't say that, 'that' is also a weapon).
    Ciaron D: LMAO!

Asker: No, there was no other weapon aboard. Soviet capsules, OTOH, were equipped with shotguns, I believe, because there may have been bears where they landed. All of ours splashed down, so no bears. And nobody was the least bit worried about hostile alien beings, since those are so unlikely to exist. No weapon was needed.
A gun only works in the presence of air. The combustion that propels a bullet depends on explosion taking place in the firing chamber of the gun. This combustion could only work inside the pressurized oxygen filled lunar module and not out in the near total vacuum of the lunar surface. A gun would be useless in that situation.
    no.

your history is faulty, in any case. teh moon had been extensively mapped from orbit, and several probes had soft-landed. the apollo 12 astronuts landed right by one of them (surveyor 3) so they could bring parts of it home with them.
im very positive they developed the first Tazer for this mission and brought it with them
No, they had no weapons on the space craft. They definitely did not expect to find life on the Moon.
    45 caliber
    no

its might be something wrong with the rocket
%26gt;Was a weapon carried aboard the Apollo 11 mission in case they met anything hostile?

No. It was already fairly well established that no native life forms or alien artifacts of any kind existed on the Moon. Besides, a gun would have constitutes a considerable amount of extra weight, and when you're flying into space, you want to carry as little extra weight as you can. Of course, they took a golf club once, and they took some flags, so they COULD have taken a gun if they had really wanted to (and yes, it would have worked in space, since black powder has its own oxidizer), but they didn't.

%26gt;All we knew about the moon then was what we could see through a telescope a quarter million miles away on Earth.

That's not actually true. Both robotic and manned spacecraft had already been sent orbiting around the Moon, and had done extensive photography work on its surface. Robotic landers had also been landed on the Moon's surface as early as 1966, and had sent back pictures of the surface, some of which were (I think) used in the film 2001 A Space Odyssey, which was released in 1968, a year before Apollo 11. So NASA already knew a great deal about the conditions their astronauts would be dealing with there.

My daughter has alot of Polly Pocket items... do they have a carry case for all the things?

If so, do u know where I could find one?My daughter has alot of Polly Pocket items... do they have a carry case for all the things?
It depends on the series you're shopping for. When I was a kid in the 90s, Polly Pockets were the size of a quarter and carry cases were very cute and you can fit tons of stuff. Then... because kids stick thing in their mouths, they made them about 3 times as large and I think now they're almost as big as as Barbie's sister Kelly. Therefore, there are different types of cases based on the Polly's your daughter has. The more recent the doll, the more likely you are to find a case at a major retail chain like Wal-Mart, K-Mart, or Target, Toys R Us, etc. If it's the older ones, you might find it on eBay for a decent price. Good Luck!!!My daughter has alot of Polly Pocket items... do they have a carry case for all the things?

Carrying a tripod and a case?

i'm studying photography and product design for a level, i find that carrying a tripod and a hard metal carry case (see link below) is quite overwhelming.

i plan to make a case with an extendable tripod inside, is there a target market for this? does anyone on here think they would benefit a tripod and case combined?

    http://www.casesbypelican.com/1450-138_3鈥?/a>Carrying a tripod and a case?
Do a survey...it sounds like a good idea but for me to buy it would depend on the design's efficiency, functionality, weight and value.

Go for itCarrying a tripod and a case?
Why? Why would you need a heavy duty case for a tripod as well as camera gear?

The link you give is for a Pelican, it is plastic and lightweight, not metal and heavy. The only time people use Pelican style photographic cases is when their equipment is a real risk of damage from the environment. I own two and can't remember that last time I needed to use them.

No, I don't think that you will have a market.
Very few people actually lug around hard cases on shoots. Photographers tend to carry light whenever possible. Things of this nature are usually left in the nearest ';station'; like a studio, hotel room, or car while what is actually needed on-location is carried by other means.

In my opinion, such a device would be impractical since the alternatives available, many of which are mentioned above, would serve better in pretty much every way. I would not be interested and I cannot think of anyone who would benefit from your proposed product.
I take it the case and tripod are one as in open up the case and raise the tripod.

If that is the case ( no pun intended) then somebody would have come up with it.

as with the earlier answer if it was needed then a camera clamp support screwed on to the handle of the up right came bag/trolley would do the trick.

most photographers very rarely take the whole contents of one of those rolling cases with them.
Hmmm . . . I think you're maybe heading towards something like a rolling suitcase with a pull-up handle? Make it small enough to go on a plane as hand luggage, strong enough to jump on, like a Pelli case and incorporate a couple of velcro ribbons to hold a tripod in place inside it. If you could have shoulder-straps like a rucksack so it could be carried hands free I think that would be a plus, maybe have the shoulder straps detachable with a zip pocket on the outside to stow them in. Best of luck with your design. Mark me down for 2% of sales for the suggestions!
Collapsible tripods with polyclotch carrying cases are already available in the market. You must be carrying one of those heavy-duty tripods. If you have a design in which you are able to collapse it, I am sure, serious photographers would be interested in such a product. Ofcourse everything will depend on the pricing and the design
I don't think it is feasible, and it would be to cumbersome to use.
Your hard metal case should have a shoulder strap, if not or of it can not be fitted with one, then think about a padded shoulder bag, or a body waistcoat with camera lens pockets.

As for your tripod there are any number of solutions the one I personally use is to go to an army and navy store and buy a webbing belt, with a clip on poncho holder, this can be held on the belt by one or more clips, remove the poncho, and roll the poncho holder around the tripod, then clip it on to the belt simple really, and cheap, but you need to remove the holder when you get in a car, but most belts will also take a second holder for another poncho, which is a great soft seat that can be sat on when you stop walking for any length of time, alternatively get a bag made for your tripod and get it made with a shoulder strap, as well. or simply get a strap made, that goes round the closed tripod, in rwo places, top and bottom, and tightens and then loops over shoulder......PS keep the poncho it makes a great hide and is capable of being made into a one man tent/bivouac, and a coat as well, very ingenious these army things, and it can be a lifesaver......
Probably not, as it is only the inside that will need to be redesigned

and carrying a case around is more cumbersome than a rucksack.

I wouldnt like to carry a case when walking over Dartmoor etc.

Most quality tripods come with a backpack type bag anyway.

Can i put my laptop in my backpack as carry on baggage without the case?

Please help, and how many pound allow for checked baggage and carry on baggage?

Please thanzCan i put my laptop in my backpack as carry on baggage without the case?
Usually, you are allowed one carry on and one ';personal'; bag such as a purse or laptop case. You'll have to check the specific airline's website for information about luggage weights. The carry ons must be able to fit under the seat in front of you, so it's more about size, rather than weight. I would recommend not putting your laptop directly in your backpack because there's a chance that the jostling typical on airplanes will damage it.

EDIT: It would probably be helpful to purchase a separate laptop case, but if you're comfortable carrying it in your backpack, there's no reason you can't. You could purchase a padded laptop sleeve for added protection that you could put the laptop in before putting it in your backpack.

    http://www.builtny.com/showPage.php?page鈥?/a>

I'm including this link just as an example of a laptop sleeve. There are reasonably priced sleeves online, at electronics stores, the Apple store, and even big-box stores like Wal-Mart or Target, but as I don't know your location, I can't really give you any more specifics at the moment.

You would be fine with the case and the medicines - the only issue on the makeup stuff is whether it's over 3 oz but you have that covered. Your medicine should be fine, too - the link below is to the TSA page that explains their rules for medications: http://www.tsa.gov/travelers/airtravel/s鈥?/a> Good luck. Can I bring my makeup case in my carry-on on a flight?
yeah you can bring make up as long as you have the liquids in plastic bags and are under 3 oz like you said. your other makeup wont matter. if the medicines are liquid and over 3oz and you put them in your carry on bag you might be fine if it is put away just dont show it to them. if the medicine isnt liquid your fine
Yes you can bring both.. but the medicine should not be a vial, cause if it is you're going to ask a permit and you will need to show the prescription..
It will be alright as long as your belongings are in a plastic bag tucked in your suite case.

  • Can you carry a guitar on a plane with you without a case?

I'm going on a 45 min flight to LA and want to take my guitar but I don't have case. Do you think I could carry it on with me? It's a medium size aucoustic. Can you carry a guitar on a plane with you without a case?
You might be able to, but I dont recommend bring it on board. There is a lot of stuff on board a plane (carry on bags, briefcases, backpacks etc.. ) and any one of those things might damage a guitar. Also, a guitar doesnt fit underneath the seat in front of you and its dangerous to put it on the ground in your asle (might stick out into the walk way and make somebody trip or somebody might step on it)

Try not to bring it on board...especially without a case. Can you carry a guitar on a plane with you without a case?
Yes, you would be able to, but you would be required to purchase a seat for your guitar unless you want to risk putting it in the cargo hold.
You have to ask the airline you will be flying with, and also ask what type of aircraft is planned for the flight you are booked on.

Most aircraft will have cupboards in the cabin, or closet space for hanging coats, especially in the business- or first-class section. You need to ask about the size of the space, and if it will accommodate a guitar. Other aircraft may have space behind seats and, while it is preferable to have everything stowed so that it cannot move during takeoff and landing, some do make exceptions.

On commuter aircraft, storage space is usually very limited, but an airline MIGHT permit you to carry the guitar on board if you strap it onto an empty seat ...they MAY allow this if the passenger count is low.

Whether you fly on a smaller commuter or large aircraft, this extra seat option may be available at extra cost but the cost would not necessarily be a full adult fare. It could be a lower charge, as for an infant, which is typically 10%.

    Ask about this, too.

i'm sure you physically can -- but why would you want to carry a loaded gun anywhere in any container? Unload it first and you'll have no issue to deal with.

if you're trying to evade the concealed carry laws -- be advised that the courts have already seen every possible trick and won't buy any of them. So, if you do it for that reason and are caught -- you're guilty.

    :] [grim]
The case is the issue. I take it is fully enclosed so the item inside can not be identified? Try just a holster in full view you should be good.

Contact your local Sheriff Department they have the gun laws and can quote them for the towns and counties in your area and not just state law.
    I don't recommend showing the world your gun but if you have time to get it from the case you'll have time to load it. An unloaded gun is about as use-full as a brick. Load it and keep it close to your body as not to be ';showing off';

Dont open a Unbrella (however its spelled) in the house. b/c its bad luck.... no its jsut b/c they dont want u to do it duhh!! %26amp; if you commit suicide b/c of that, your a idiot
The only bad luck there is the fact that you don't have your mirrors anymore. Other than that....nothing to worry about.
I think the 7 years applies as a standard and since you broke them in one fell swoop it is only 7 years. But if you break more tomorrow I'm not sure if the additional 7 years will be added to the first seven years or if your 7 yr contract with bad luck will start over from the day you break the next mirror. Hope this helps. Good Luck!!!!!!!
Questions like yours always makes my left eye brow raise up in wonder...So im wondering why the hell was you carrying a case of mirrors?? As for committing suicide...i wouldnt do that, as youve just been blessed with afew years of bad luck....its too risky and wouldnt work.. and also if you tryed to kill yourself....whos gonna make my left eye brow raise up at these questions. Good luck to you.
No dont do that. you will be fine.
Looks like you've already done that !
the only bad luck you have is having a mess to clean up.
there will be no bad luck breaking mirrors does not cause bad luck

  • I'm leaving for fla in a few days what can i put in my suit case and on my carry on?

I am leaving in 7 days for f lorida i haven't been on a plane since the fifth grade and now i'm 30 so that would say alot has changed... What exactly can i put in my suit case and what is allowed by the airline.. I'm flying american airlinesI'm leaving for fla in a few days what can i put in my suit case and on my carry on?
In checked luggage you cannot put flammable materials, and airlines recommend you not put jewelry, laptops, cameras, or anything of value in checked luggage.

In your carryon there are many restrictions - no weapons, no knives, no liquids, except those in 3 ounce or smaller containers that will fit in only one quart sized ziplock bag (exceptions made for medical needs and breast milk/formula for babies)

Here is American Airlines' page on restricted items.I'm leaving for fla in a few days what can i put in my suit case and on my carry on?
It's not the airline that makes the rules (for the most part), it's actually TSA. A lot has changed since the last time you were on a plane!

I suggest you read through the ';Things You Should Know'; section of the TSA website. A lot of helpful info for people who don't fly much! The last response to your question is actually incorrect, as the liquids have to be 3oz or under. Get your info straight from the source, to be sure you have all the correct info! Any questions you have not on the TSA website, you should be able to find on American Airlines website.
The above information from ready 4 is incorrect.

Weight limit for checked luggage is usually 50 pounds. (contact your airline to be sure)

The limit for liquids in carry on is 3 oz. per bottle.

You can bring common lighters in your carry on.

Here's your definitive info for baggage restrictions:

Carry case/bag for Canon 40d. Any suggestions please?

I am looking for a nice sturdy (and as compact as possible) carry case/bag to hold and protect my Canon 40d plus a few lenses/batteries etc. for when I do my travelling. I would like one which would ideally be weatherproof and could comfortably fit inside a rucksack sized bag to save me carrying too much around at once and also avoid getting moaned at for having too much hand luggage at customs!

Your help would be very much appreciated.

    Many thanks again,

Well I cannot comment on the slingshot but I have to agree with both of the ones already posted here that lowepro makes a great bag, I have the Lowepro rover and have been very happy with it. These are the same folks that made the great Lowe backpacks for so many yearsCarry case/bag for Canon 40d. Any suggestions please?
I've been there! I researched a lot before buying the camera bag, and I'm glad I ordered the LowePro SlingShot:

My boyfriend and I absolutely love this bag.

It's kind of like a backpack, but it has only one strap that goes diagonally across your chest. The design is actually very smart. That way, you can easily rotate the bag and access your gear. The weight of the bag is also evenly distributed to both your left %26amp; right side.

The back and the strap are very well padded. It doesn't hurt even if you carry the bag for hours, during shooting or traveling. When you get moving, there's a strap, stored in a hidden compartment, that goes across your stomach so that the bag won't move as much.

It's very sturdy and of high quality. On the 200AW, there's a main compartment, where you can fit the 40D with the lens attached (you can also put the grip, but it will be somewhat tight) and 3-4 lenses or flash.

In the upper compartment, you can put your cables and accessories (batteries, straps, etc). There's also a zippered compartment where you can put memory cards %26amp; filters.

I got to agree with Honeypot on this one. That is the exact camera bag I have and it goes great with my canon. It's been tested over and over again during down pours (it keeps my camera nice and dry as well as all my paper work I stick in it, lenses and memory cards and so on), snow, while carrying lots of bags and props and with rough housing kids. It keeps my camera safe. I love it and it's comfortable! I purchased mine through bestbuy.com at around $45. The one downside to though is it's a little bulky, but to me it's worth it!

    Good luck!
